Services are weather dependent, and operating hours are therefore subject to change.
- Peak Summer period – 7 days per week from 10am - 5pm on the hour or half hour. Open later on Friday and Saturday evening. Closed Christmas Day.
- Shoulder Seasons – Weekends and public holidays, or prior bookings.
- Winter season – Restricted to Saturdays with fine weather, or prior group bookings.
- Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Trips can be scheduled outside of normal hours to suit pre-arranged bookings.
Phone bookings are preferred although bookings can be made at the jet boat when docked at Waterman's Dock, Murray Street Pier. This is conveniently located three blocks from the Hobart city centre.
Life jackets and commentary will be provided. Warm clothing is advised in cooler conditions.
Some conditions apply:
- Minimum start-up fares apply (typically equivalent to a two person fare).
- Availability is subject to suitable water and weather conditions.
- For thrill rides, it is required that a standard insurance industry indemnity waiver be signed which includes a declaration of good health. Parents or guardians must sign for those under 16 years of age.
